Automatic glue paper labeling machines, also known as wet glue labeling machines, operate on a series of mechanical and adhesive-based principles to apply labels to containers, particularly bottles.

Here's a detailed explanation of their working principle:
1.  Label Application Process:
◦ The machine uses a fan-shaped rotating bar that picks up a small amount of glue from a rubber wheel and rotates to the label transmission area where it adheres to a label   .
◦ The label is then rotated to a position where a vacuum wheel, known as the sucking paper wheel, is located. Here, the label is removed by a doffing label claw   .
◦ The label, now adhered to the glue, is transferred to a conveying paper belt via vacuum suction   .
◦ As the label moves into the sticking label area on the conveying paper belt, it is adhered to the bottle, which is being conveyed by chains   .
2.  Adhesive Application:
◦ Glue is applied to the reverse side of the label. The type of adhesive application can be selected based on adhesion, application speed, or drying speed required   .
◦ For can labeling, adhesive is first applied as a stripe to the container, and a second stripe of adhesive is applied to the trailing edge of the label as it rotates over the label magazine   .
3.  Label Transfer and Adhesion:
◦ The label is conveyed into the sticking label area on the conveying paper belt with the help of vacuum suction, and then it is adhered onto the bottle   .
◦ The labeling process is completed by the circular actions of the machine, which continuously repeats these steps for successive bottles   .
 4.  Machine Features:
◦ The machine can operate automatically, sending labels, pasting, and labeling to improve efficiency   .
◦ It uses a glue pump, allowing the glue to be used circularly, and the quantity of flowing glue can be adjusted to meet different labeling requirements   .
5.  Speed and Efficiency:
◦ The labeling speed is adjustable, typically ranging from 60-150 pieces per minute, with the ability to adjust according to the number of fed bottles to correspond with output changes   .
6.  Material and Design:
◦ The machine is often made of 304 stainless steel and advanced aluminum alloy to meet GMP requirements   .
◦ It includes features like a high-purity copper glue box matched with a stainless steel roller for precise glue application, and special rubber rollers that are treated to be non-deformable and wear-resistant   .
7.  Control Systems:
◦ The machine uses intelligent control with automatic photoelectric tracking. It has functions like no object and no labeling, no label automatic correction, and automatic label detection to prevent glue leakage and label waste   .
8.  Versatility:
◦ The machine can work standalone or connect with a production line, and it can adjust to various bottle specifications with simple changes to parts like the turret and vacuum belt   .
This process ensures that labels are applied accurately and efficiently, reducing manual labor and improving the overall quality of the labeling process. The use of glue allows for a secure bond and can be adapted to various container shapes and sizes, making automatic glue paper labeling machines a versatile solution for many packaging lines
