Heat Shrinking Sealing Machine

Frequently Asked Questions about Heat Shrink Wrapping Solutions

Q: What is the difference between L-type sealers and sleeve wrapping machines?
A: L-type sealers use a center-folded film—the product is pushed through the film curtain, and an L-shaped sealing bar simultaneously cuts and seals three sides before the pack enters the shrink tunnel. Sleeve wrappers use tubular film that slides over the product, then both open ends are sealed before shrinking. L-type is faster for uniform boxes; sleeve wrapping handles irregular shapes and tall products better.

Q: What film materials are compatible with your shrink machines?
A: Our machines work with PE (polyethylene), POF (polyolefin), and PVC shrink films in thicknesses from 0.015mm to 0.15mm. POF is the most common for retail packaging due to its clarity and strength. PE suits heavy or bulky items. The shrink tunnel temperature is digitally controlled and adjustable per film type.

Q: Should I choose a 2-in-1 integrated machine or separate sealer and tunnel?
A: A 2-in-1 integrated L-type machine saves floor space and is ideal for small to medium operations with a single operator. Separate sealer and tunnel configurations offer higher throughput for production lines and allow independent adjustment of sealing and shrinking parameters for different film types and product sizes.
