Three Products, One Machine

1.Oval Hand Sanitizer Bottles

Small pill-shaped bottles in peach and lavender, each with a clear transparent upper body and an opaque colored lower section. The bottles lie flat inside white plastic custom molds that ride the modular chain belt conveyor. As each mold passes through the labeling station, the head applies a white UPC barcode label precisely onto the clear upper surface — flat, centered, no bubbles.

2.Round Body Butter Jars

250 ml round jars with bright pink screw lids, gold metallic rims, and a carousel horse design printed on the lid. These jars sit directly on the conveyor — no molds, no trays. Before the run, the operator dials the belt width to match the jar diameter using the bottom handwheel, then locks the orange handles. Labels land dead center on every lid.

3.Metal Balm Tins

40–50 ml silver round tins with mint green labels featuring a red-and-white candy cane graphic. Like the jars, these tins sit directly on the conveyor with no mold. The operator calls up the saved product profile on the Siemens SMART LINE HMI — labeling speed, sensor position, delay, date coding — and the line is live.

What Actually Changes Between Products

The machine core stays untouched. Six adjustments cover the switch — every one uses a handwheel, a quick-lock handle, or a touchscreen preset. No tools required.

1. Molds — if the product needs them

The oval bottles have an uneven bottom profile and cannot sit stably on the belt. They need the white plastic mold to hold them flat and aligned. The mold has an open slot across its midsection and rides the chain belt conveyor.

The round jars and metal tins have flat bottoms — they go directly on the belt. This step is skipped.

2. Labeling head height — top handwheel

Product height changes, so the labeling head moves up or down to maintain consistent clearance above the label surface.

3. Label left/right position — center handwheel

Dial the label's horizontal landing point to center it over the cap or lid, regardless of product diameter.

4. Belt height — two handwheels on the right column

Adjusts the vertical position of the belt assembly so the product enters the labeling station at the correct angle.

5. Belt width — bottom handwheel, locked by orange handles

The bottom handwheel moves the guide rails forward or backward to match the product width. Once set, the orange quick-lock handles on both sides secure the position.

6. HMI parameters — Siemens SMART LINE touchscreen

Multi-recipe storage. Labeling speed, sensor trigger position, output delay, and date coding on/off — each product has its own saved profile. Select and go.

Why This Matters
